Page Designer/Copy Editor for the The Victoria Advocate
- Employed from September 2014 to present
- Duties include copy editing news stories and designing page layouts including section fronts and special feature sections.
- Employed from: February 2012 to September 2014
- Duties include coverage of the Nueces, Jim Wells and Duval County areas. Beats were city and education. Coverage included writing news stories, photography and videography. I would also assist in layout and design.
- Employed from: February 2011 to February 2012
- Duties included covering news stories and photography around the Kingsville and Bishop area. Coverage included City Hall meetings, events and interviews.
Reporter/Photographer/Page Designer for The South Texan
- Employed from: January 2009 to December 2011
- Duties
included covering news stories on campus and layout and design for the student
newspaper which included photo spreads, features and occasionally double
trucks. During the summer of 2010 I laid out a 32-page Back To School issue.
